Living in London can be challenging - many only plan to be here for a short time. It can be hard to make relationships and housing is expensive. Yet there are many opportunities for the gospel. Our ethos begins with equipping people for London life with vision and maturity. Then we look around at what we can see, and ask God where we can help. Over the years this has meant we have created many opportunities for new people to find Jesus. We began in Soho, where much of our work still continues, and we now also meet near Liverpool Street in the City. Two locations, one church.
We imagine each of our small groups to be a net. The net is made up of our loving commitment to one another, and the mentoring and discipleship we offer. In this net we catch fish! Each of our groups seeks to reach out to a particular location or type of person. If you are an active member of a small group, then you are also a member of the church. The nets need mending, so we give attention to our relationships.
The best way to find out about us is to come to one of our services, meet our team, and ask any questions you may have. Feel free to arrange to go for tea and cake with one of our leaders, in our very own Living Room Tea House!
Our five-fold values
We want to share good news as a priority, as an expression of our shared life and a challenge to our discipleship.
We believe the Bible says we can grow in maturity and virtue, being transformed into the image of Jesus together, even if it’s a challenge.
We care and contribute to the growth and multiplication of the church, both in London and oversees, recognising the shared responsibility we have towards each other.
The baptism and power of the Holy Spirit encourages, inspires and equips our actions from living a holy life to sharing good news.
We want to embody family in the middle of city life, creating a flourishing environment which challenges isolation, independence and loneliness.
