In the period up to Easter we are looking at different aspects of the road to the cross: how Jesus was betrayed, denied, questioned, sentenced,and crucified; and how he died and rose! Sometimes we don't give enough time to the story of his last few days: the gospel writers give up to a third of their space to it. Focussing on each aspect gives us insight into following him more faithfully in sacrifice and suffering.
