Homeless outreach

Five days a week, City Gates church opens its doors as a sanctuary for homeless people in the local community.

This drop-in session runs at the church centre in Soho from 5-7pm, Mondays to Fridays. It offers practical care to those who are homeless, poor and destitute, by providing food and hot drinks. The primary vision of the homeless outreach is to demonstrate the love of Jesus to those who may never before have encountered it.

Many of the people who visit the centre during this time come from different nationalities and backgrounds; some have taken the decision to become Christians. It is a real blessing and privilege to serve God by ministering to his children, no matter who they are and what their circumstances.
