Poverty Action Group

Central to the Christian life is the message of the kingdom of God coming on earth. The Poverty Action Group, comically known as "The PAG" is a group whose concern focuses on sharing God's love with the poor and needy, being agents of change in the world and so bringing in the kingdom.

Meeting around every six weeks after church on a Sunday, the group is an opportunity to connect with others who share the same agenda. Many people in the church serve the Lord in reaching out to the poor all around the world and this is an opportunity for prayer, encouragement, discussion and sharing with one another the great stuff that is going on.

The second purpose of the PAG is to be a resource for the wider church to engage with issues of poverty. As we meet up to talk, opportunities for action can be found for both the whole church, and individuals. Anyone can attend the group to join in discussions and catch up with those in the church who are more actively engaged in reaching the poor.
