Men's Ministry

The City Gates Men's Ministry seeks to connect the men in City Gates more fully with God, themselves and each other. Our aim is to provide resources and events that encourage men to pursue the restoration of their true masculinity. We encourage men to build meaningful, open and accountable relationships with each other, to be more connected with God and so more effective in bringing in the kingdom.
 
We explore the difference between true and false masculinity, the consequence of the Fall for men and restoration of the Father heart of God to us through the cross in community with each other. We want men to understand where they have come from, and where they are going, so that, like Paul, we can say to others imitate me as I imitate Christ.
 
We will both organize events, encouraging accountability and honesty and facilitate others in doing the same.
 
You can get involved by coming to the Men's Breakfasts and other events that are organised, finding accountability partner(s), suggesting (even hosting and organising) specific talks on topics and praying for us often. Come and talk to the ministry leaders about any ideas you have so we can help you forward with them.
