Children

The children's ministry at City Gates aims to provide a Jesus-centred approach to loving and teaching the church's 0-11-year-olds; both during their group sessions and within the wider life of congregation.

Each week, City Gates runs two groups during the second half of the Sunday morning meeting, one for 0-5s and another for 5-11s. These sessions include a lively mix of worship, games, prayers, Bible teaching and craft activities on a variety of themes, all of which seek to encourage the children in their relationship with Jesus.

Needless to say, the church cherishes its children; they are an integral part of the community and a constant source of inspiration. What's more, their presence serves as a vivid and valuable reminder that 'the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these'.
